The star jasper Tumbled Stones fascinate with their star-shaped patterns in various shades of brown.
The size of the tumbled stones is between 1.5 - 3.5 cm; you will receive approx. 60 - 65 tumbled stones per packaging unit (=VE) with 0.5 kg.
The common trade name "star jasper" is not correct, as it is a young rhyolite stone. The brown groundmass is quartz and Feldspar, the inclusions are also Feldspar. The mineralogically correct term is therefore star rhyolite.
Other names by which the mineral is referred to both wholesale and retail are Star Oregon Jasper or Star Oregon Jasper and Star Jasper as well as Flower Jasper and Starburst Jasper and Firework Jasper/Jasper.
