The large drilled hearts are a real eye-catcher, especially in the colder months, e.g. on thick sweaters.
The size and bulbous shape make the grain of the domed amethyst hearts stand out particularly well.
The drilled amethyst heart pendants have a hole of approx. 5 mm and are 4.5 cm in size.
The name amethyst is derived from the Greek word amethystos (counteracting intoxication) and refers to the traditional belief that an amethyst protects against the intoxicating effects of wine and other alcohol. Spellings such as Amathyst, Amethist, Ametist, Ametyhst, Ametyst, Amnethyst, Amthyst or Amythist are therefore incorrect.
