What a contrast! Pink Rhodonite combined with black Psiomelan and other manganese oxides!
Size of the rhodonite donuts 3cm, diameter hole 8.5mm.
Rhodonite is used in gemstone healing to support forgiveness and to strengthen mutual understanding.
The first scientific description of Rhodonite was made in 1819 by the German naturalist Christoph Friedrich Jasche. The pink color inspired Jasche to name it "Rhodonite", which is derived from the Greek word "rhodon" for rose or rose scent. Occasional spellings such as rhodonite, rodonite or rodonite are therefore incorrect.
