A great new find from Tanzania: various Feldspars with Hematite inclusions!
Under the trade name Arusha Sunstone this new material is on the market.
We were able to get hold of a small barrel of rough stones and have cut these beautiful drilled faceted drops from it.
Size of the choker parts from Arusha sunstone about 2.0 - 2.5cm, diameter of the hole about 2.3mm.
Sunstone belongs to the minerals of the Feldspar group. Another trade name of this special variety is confetti sunstone.
