Edge stones - the new form of polished gemstones from a material found in Germany: Pyrite in slate!
!
The edge stones take the form of historical mosaic stones (tesserae), which were already popular with the ancient Greeks as a material for arts and crafts.

Due to the flat shape, the edge stones are very well suited as a hand caress, for energetic overlays and partly even for drilling or setting.

Size of the angular Smooth Stones about 4.0 to 5.0cm, thickness about 6-7mm.

VE with 100g; these are approx. 3 - 5 flat polished stones.

Origin of the raw material Lehesten, Thuringia.

The historical slate mining in Lehesten in the Thuringian Forest is one of the oldest and largest open pit mines for roofing slate in Europe. Since the 13th century, slate has been mined, split and processed into slate panels, roof and wall coverings in Lehesten.

In modern stone medicine, Pyrite in slate is considered the stone of openness. It helps not to take oneself so important and to laugh at oneself sometimes. Negative thoughts can be let go more easily.

Pyrite in slate is also called Apache gold in reference to the places where it was found in the USA.

The white bands and areas are mostly quartz, occasionally calcite.
