VE with 100g; this are about 15 - 20 polished elongated pyrite slate.

Origin of the raw material Lehesten, Thuringia.
The historical slate mining in Lehesten in the Thuringian Forest is one of the oldest and largest open-pit mines for roofing slate in Europe. Slate has been mined, split and processed into slate panels, roof and wall coverings in Lehesten since the 13th century.

In modern stone medicine, Pyrite in slate is considered the stone of openness. It helps not to take oneself so important and to laugh at oneself sometimes. Negative thoughts can be let go more easily.

Pyrite in slate is also called Apache gold in reference to the places where it was found in the USA.

The white bands and areas are mostly quartz, occasionally calcite.
