The chrysoberyl bracelet is 17 cm long; the extension chain makes the bracelet up to 22 cm long. The buttons have a diameter of 2.5mm (at the Clasp) to 5mm (in the middle), i.e. the bracelet has a graduated design.
Clasp and extension are made from gold-plated 925 silver.
The raw material comes from Sri Lanka, the high-quality faceting was carried out in India.

The name Chrysoberyl is derived from the Greek words "chrysos" (Gold) and "beryllos" (beryl). Spellings such as chrysoberyl, crysoberryl or gold beryl are therefore incorrect. The spelling Krisoberil used in the first scientific description of chrysoberryl by Abraham Gottlob Werner (1749 - 1817) in 1789 did not catch on.
