Fossilized shark teeth are evidence of the "shark of terror" Otodus Obliquus, which could grow up to 9 meters long.

The tooth was recovered in the area around the "Plateau des Phosphates" in Morocco.

The shark teeth, which are often loose, are prepared and reinserted into the parent rock. Size of the parent rock in which the fossils are embedded: ca. 8 - 10cm

Age of the fossils approx. 60 million years.

The shark takes a special importance in many peoples connected to the sea as a supplier of food and material for tools. Especially the shark teeth were used for the production of weapons and tools. Today, the shark tooth pendant is considered a symobol and talisman for water sports enthusiasts, especially surfers.
