The beads of this amethyst strand have a diameter of 18mm and inspire with the contrast of the dark purple Amethyst and light quartz. The total length of the strand of chevron amethyst is about 40cm.
Chevron amethyst is used in stone healing to dissolve attachments and strengthen calm and collection.
The name amethyst is derived from the Greek word amethystos (counteracting intoxication) and refers to the traditional belief that with an amethyst one is protected against the intoxicating effects of wine and other alcohol. Spellings such as Amathyst, Amethist, Ametist, Ametyhst, Ametyst, Amnethyst, Amthyst or Amythist are therefore incorrect.
