Blue Apatite of the extra class! The apatite beads have a diameter of 6mm and are of intense dark Turquoise color. The apatite strand (rod.) has a length of approx. 39cm.

The mineral apatite is used in stone healing whenever apathy is to be overcome and motivation is to be strengthened. Independent thinking and acting as well as determination are strengthened.

The name apatite is derived from the Greek word "apatáo" for "to deceive" and was coined in 1786 by the German mineralogist Abraham Gottlob Werner (1749 - 1817). Since apatite occurs in numerous different forms and colors, there is a great danger that apatite will be confused with another mineral. Spellings like apartith, apathite, apatite, appatite or apatiet are not correct.

Bright turquoise apatite is also called neon apatite.
