The intense turquoise, partially translucent apatite beads have a diameter of 8mm, the entire stone strand has a length of 40cm.
The strengthening of self-reliance, drive and motivation are typical stone healing applications of apatite.
The name apatite is derived from the Greek word "apatáo" for "to deceive" and was coined in 1786 by the German mineralogist Abraham Gottlob Werner (1749 - 1817). Since apatite occurs in numerous different forms and colors, there is a great danger that apatite will be mistaken for another mineral. Spellings like apartith, apathite, apatite, appatite or apatiet are not correct.
