The elements of this garnet strand fascinate with their triangular facets (so-called star cut). The elements are about 5-6mm in size, in total the gemstone strand has a length of about 40cm.
The dark red garnet (Almandine) is used in gemstone medicine to strengthen willpower and to assert one's own ideas against resistance. Already Hildegard von Bingen dealt with the effect of garnet under the then common name carbuncle (Carbunkel).
