The pendant with the nautilus snail is approx. 2.2 cm in size.
The setting and the eyelet are made of 925 silver; inner diameter of the eyelet 5mm.
The creamy white disc with the typical spiral pattern is often mistakenly referred to as a nautilus shell or shiva shell. In fact, however, it is the lid with which the turban snail can close its shell in case of danger, the so-called operculum. This is also known as the Shiva eye and represents knowledge and wisdom. In the Mediterranean region, it is also known as the Eye of Lucia or Sea Eye.
