Everything is now going its way and we are satisfied with the achieved goals. Insights acquired result in growth and
success - results achieved become visible to us and our fellow human beings. Now is the time to lay the foundations
for a good and long-term development, while around us nature grows and prospers and everything is full of high
Rock Crystal gives us the clarity and neutrality we need now. With an alert eye and a keen mind, we can examine developments and successes and verify to which extent they correspond to us and our point of view. The memory of the past and the forgotten is strengthened, so that we can include what is already behind us in the current decisions. Lost abilities are brought back to consciousness by the Rock Crystal.
A hige variety of tumbled stones, bracelets, drilled stone parts, jewelry and much more made of rock crystal can be found in our webshop for retailers.

Purchaser Bernd Stark in Brazil, selecting rock crystal points
Rock crystal is formed in many different shapes. There are rough raw pieces, which do not have any points. If the
crystal forms points, the basic shape consists of hexagonal prisms. Often cluster grow together from a multitude of
crystals. Well-known growth forms are:
Window quartz: Quartz that grows very fast in supersaturated solutions and develops especially along the edges of the crystal. The edges therefore grow faster than the deeper surfaces of the crystal, creating a cavity. In this cavity, quartz panes then again grow from the protruding edges and this is why window quartz got its name. The trapezoidal surfaces at the top of the crystal, which partly have angular depressions, are therefore typical. Mineralogically the window quartzes belong to the skeleton quartzes; American crystal healing according to Katrina Raphaell also calls this form elestial crystals.
In phantom crystals, crystal growth occurred in several phases that were interrupted. After the crystal grew further at a later time, the earlier growth phase remained visible as a "phantom", so to speak as a "stone in a stone".
Double pointers are created when points are formed on both sides of the prism. The best known form of double pointers is the Herkimer quartz or Herkimer diamond. These are clear, mostly small double pointed crystals, which owe their name to the original place of discovery, Herkimer (New York State). Meanwhile, significantly cheaper double pointed crystals from Pakistan are also available.
Fadenquartzes ("thread quartz") are crystals with fibrous single or bundled white threads in clear quartz. This beautiful form of quartz is created by the tectonic opening of clefts and is an manifestation of the formation of mountains in the Himalayas. Each piece is unique!
Needle quartzes are fine thin and needle-like crystals, which are mainly found in China.
Rock crystal is unsurpassed in the variety of its uses. Through its purity and clarity and due to the absence of
foreign coloring or clouding substances, it sharpens our clear perception and the knowledge about
What is part of one's own identity and what has been imposed by external influences such as education and conditioning? Rock crystal can be very helpful in answering these questions. Primeval memories can be awakened and this enables us to develop in a way that corresponds to our own innermost being.
If we constantly deviate from the insights of our inner truth in our everyday life, disruptions can occur. Rock crystal can help us to uncover the causes and contexts which have led to the disruptions. Also Hildegard von Bingen attributed a large spectrum of activity to the rock crystal.
In addition to the use of rock crystal as a gemstone in all variations, beautifully formed crystals are popular collector's items and their value depends on the clarity and the well-formed, undamaged tip.
Rock crystal acts like an amplifier on other stones and their individual vibrations and can therefore be excellently combined with them, which is especially utilized with every kind of jewelry and in energizing water stone mixtures.
After a mechanical and energetic cleaning of stones which have been used as jewelry or healing stones, it is recommended to recharge them with fresh energy. Rock crystal is perfectly suited for this purpose. After the stone has been cleaned under running water, place it in an amethyst geode or in a heap of small Hematite tumbled stones for a few hours to free it from foreign programming and old energetic attachments. The stone will receive a fresh energy boost by placing it on a group of rock crystals, on a single large rock crystal or on small tumbled stones.
The largest rock crystal group can be found in the Crystal Museum Riedenburg and weighs 7.8 tons. Its dimensions are about 2 x 3 m with a maximum height of 1.80 m. This fantastic piece from Arkansas (USA) is the centerpiece of the collection and attracts numerous visitors to the Crystal Museum Riedenburg every year.
The largest single rock crystal was found in Minas Gerais (Brazil). It weighs 7.5 t and can be admired in the Crystal Thermal Baths in Stein near Nuremberg.
Rock crystal goes back to the Greek word "krystallos" (ice, icy cold), because according to ancient
conceptions rock crystal was frozen ice that could not thaw. In the course of the 18th century, the prefix
"rock" was added, as the term "crystal" was now also used for a natural growth form of various
Synonyms for rock crystal in general are mountain ice, ray and water drop quartz. Occasionally some misleading names are also found in the trade that describe rock crystal as diamond, e.g. Arkansas diamond, Schaumburg diamond, German diamond or pseudo-diamond. Rock crystal river pebbles of alpine origin are called Rhine pebbles.
Widespread are names for the different forms in which rock crystal can grow.
Quartz consists of the elements silicone and oxygen (chemical formula SiO2) primarily by hydrothermal
formation from pure silica solution. Quartz is the second most common mineral in the earth's crust after the
feldspar group. In its pure form, as rock crystal, it is formed only under ideal conditions and over periods of
several million years. Numerous other representatives of the quartz group are formed by the inclusion of traces of
metals in the crystal lattice and physical processes. Among the best known are:
Amethyst - purple quartz (Fe4+)
Citrine - yellow-gold-yellow quartz (FeOOH, partly also Al3+ and Li+or H+)
Rose Quartz - pink quartz (various agents)
Smoky quartz - brown-black quartz
The names Aqua Aura and Angel Aura describe rock crystal vaporized with gold or platinum, which gets a colorful shimmer through this treatment. Aqua Aura and Angel Aura are especially popular as jewelry, tumbled stones or polished tips.
In Buddhism, whose branch of Vajirayana (one of the four schools of Tibetan Buddhism, also called Diamond Vehicle) is
native to the Himalayas, rock crystal has always been a valued stone for meditation, rituals and
ceremonies, both as raw crystal and for malas (necklace of prayer beads).
Dorjes (also known as Vajiras), artistically crafted from rock crystal, are among the most famous symbols and objects in Buddhism. The dorje, the meaning of which can be roughly described as "diamond sceptre", is the symbol for the diamond-like purity of the unclouded mind. The mind should be like a clear diamond, unsurpassed in hardness and purity, so that it can overcome all obstacles. Dorjes were also part of the equipment of Tibetan doctors.
Due to its neutral quality, rock crystal is suitable for all chakras, but it is especially valued as
a chakra stone for the forehead chakra (identity, spiritual path, awareness and development) and the nose chakra
(clarity, instinct, inner knowledge).
Rock crystal is the stone of awareness and purity. It clarifies the own elements of the personality and helps to come closer to the own inner truth. Pragmatic approaches to upcoming tasks are supported.
Astrologically rock crystal is assigned to Capricorn. Through its clarity and neutrality the stone supports the characteristic features of the sign of this zodiac: endurance, discipline and willpower on the way to perfection. Rock crystal is also a good companion for other signs of the zodiac, especially in the first decade of Capricorn (December 22 to 31), when the predominant themes of this period are the creation of clear structures and the attention to the essential.
A specialty are the crystal singing bowls made of 99.99 percent pure quartz. The quartz is melted at a temperature of over 2000° Celsius and brought into the shape of the bowls by centrifugation. These bowls are rubbed or struck gently with a leather covered stick. They produce a very pure, intense and penetrating sound that lasts for a long time and can be heard outdoors for up to several hundred meters. A crystal singing bowl produces a different sound and sends its energetic information on a different frequency depending on its size and thickness. Crystal singing bowls are used mostly for sound therapies or to support meditations.
Quartz is one of the most important minerals for the industry and serves as building material and as raw material for
the production of ceramics, glass and cement. Synthetically produced quartz is used as an impulse generator in
electronic circuits and quartz watches.
Pure silicone (Si) is meanwhile a very popular material for jewelry production. The shimmering surfaces create interesting accents e.g. in necklaces and bracelets; Silicone is also popular as a massage stone. More information and articles here
