In this unusual pendant, purple-purple fluorite crystals have grown naturally on a quartz mixture, from which a cabochon has then been cut.
The drilled heart pendants of purple fluorite have a hole of about 3mm.
Size of the pink fluorite heart about 5cm
The name fluorite is derived from the Latin fluere (to flow) and refers to the mining term fluorspar for fluorite. Spellings like Florid, Florit, Flourid, Flourit, Fluorid or Flurid are therefore not correct.
