Longstones are the ideal complement to the classic gemstone wands and gemstone rods. Due to the stable shape, the Longstones can be used for a gemstone massage either like a pen in the fingers or in the fist.
The Freeform Onyx Longstones can be used especially for deeper massages and applications on large muscle areas (e.g. back or legs).
The Onyx is not colored, as the numerous light inclusions clearly show. The black Chaledon, as the Onyx is also called, is used in stone healing to strengthen the themes of responsibility and self-confidence.
The name Onyx is derived from the Greek word "onyx" for "nail"; presumably this name, which has been in use for many centuries, refers to the surface of the polished stone, which is reminiscent of shiny fingernails. Spellings like onix or onyk are therefore not correct.
