The raw material for this absolute rarity comes from Greenland.
The Tumbled Stones are about 1.5 - 2.5cm in size; per packaging unit (VE) with 100g you get about 8 - 10 stones.
In stone healing, the Siderite (iron spar) the themes of constancy, patience & strength for difficult times, equanimity and going out of oneself are assigned.
The first discovery of cryolite was in 1799 in Ivittuut (Greenland) by Peder Christian Abildgaard (1740-1801), who also named the newly discovered mineral. The name cryolite is composed of the Greek words "kryos" (frost, ice) and "lithos" (stone) and alludes to the appearance of the mineral. Spellings like cryolite, chryolite, chriolite or criolite are therefore not correct.
