The diameter of the gemstone beads made of Chitta Serpentine is between approx. 35 - 42mm.

Origin of the rough: Peru

Chita is a variety of Serpentine. The olive-yellow color is due to chromium; the black inclusions are chromite.

In stone healing, chita is used to support self-determination and protection against foreign, undesirable influences. In this way, one's own interests can be better represented.

The spelling of the name is inconsistent; both Chita and Chitta; Chyta and Chytha can be found in the retail and wholesale trade; occasionally also Chitajade or Chittajade.
