The iridescent ammonites come from Madagascar and have a size of about 2 - 4cm.
Per packing unit with 0,5kg you get approx. 28 - 32 raw fossils.
Ammonites were cephalopods living in the sea, primitive squids. At the end of the Cretaceous period, about 65 million years before today, ammonites became extinct together with dinosaurs and some other fossils.
